Nissan Silvia Nismo - A story of my first and oldest mod

To resume this mods , it's pretty simple, for me it's a lightweight version , using the rims of a Skyline Nismo Z-Tune , plus some elements to make it more aero-wise.

And since Nissan never made a Nismo version of it, but only with special visual kits , I decided to go on creating my variant.

THE FIRST VERSION

Half-success , half-fail , I can say.
The model had a lot of bugs , on top of that , I never thought that using high LOD's could cause issues , as I wasn't aware of the maximum polycount. So it turned to be a " mod " , but more bugged than anything else.

I don't have any photos of it anymore , the v3 of that mod was way better to look at.
But to resume the mod :

- most of the parts didn't worked
- the exterior was hi-poly (too much)
- some parts weren't well placed
- the engine parts never dared to work
- vinyls were bugged

and so on.

THE SECOND VERSION

This one is better but I'm not proud of it, not entirely. Because the one who created it was S.S.T ( aka SamuraiSportTeam ) but in the first place I really never asked him to do so. I asked for help about modding, but I never asked people to do it for me. It has no sense to ask for help if someone does all the work instead.

If you want to mod, practise is the only key.

He probably thought that doing that for me since I was a beginner in the modding scene, would give me a reason to consider him as a mentor , but he fucked up.

The other thing that I wasn't proud of is that the model...wasn't customizable at all. I like to customize any car , and this sort of "restricted" mod didn't felt right. So that leads us to the v3 of the mod

THE THIRD VERSION - THIS IS GOOD

This one is the latest , and it's real good !

It took me some months , between the thinking of the model and the tuning options that it should have, the assembly of the different meshes and most of all : how to be able to use any fuction of the mod.

Here is list of what you can do with this version :

Customizations :

- Front bumper (three versions : body paint , carbonfiber and transparent polycarbonate )
- Rear bumper (same versions as the front bumpers)
- Hoods (Tuned, transparent , split hoods)
- Rims
- Headlights
- Taillights
- Widebody
- Paint
- Vinyls (100% accurate + some vinyls have been added in "Art Factory" section)
- Trunk + Audio trunk
- Neon (Underglow and trunk neons)
- Window tint
- Spinners
- Headlight tint
- Hydrauclics
- Decals ( body and windows )

This version is the latest one , and by far the version that I like the most. You can do pretty much any setup that you want, plus some extras, such as the vinyls which are now mapped proprely ! The widebody is mostly wide arches , I wanted to add some bolts on the arches , but I think it would have looked a bit useless.

I think it's the most I'm the most proud of. Like I say : " Nothing's better than getting something you worked hard for."

I really want to ask some modders for their help, particularly ArturoPlayerOne, Porsche4ever and AJ_Lethal who gave me some tips and advices.
